FEATURES
- One account for the entire group.
- 1st loan is a maximum of two times the total amount of the group’s savings.
- 2nd loan is a maximum of three times the total amount of the group’s savings.
- The repayment period will depend on the loan amount applied.
- The interest rate is 1% per month on a reducing balance.
- Collateral is required for loans exceeding KShs. 500,000.
- A grace period of 30 days is given before the 1st loan installment is paid.
House Hold Asset Loan Features:
- A processing fee of 2% is charged.
- Applicants should have made deposits for a minimum of 3 months.
- The loan is repayable within 12 months.
- The interest rate is 1 % per month on a fixed balance.
- Collateral comprises other household assets.

1. M-PESA PAYBILL DIRECT POSTING
Our Paybill No. is 520900 through which our members can make deposits and loan repayments directly into their accounts. Follow the steps below:
- Scroll down to M-PESA menu on your phone,
- Choose pay bill from the Lipa na m-pesa menu,
- Enter Ukristo na Ufanisi Sacco Ltd Paybill business number—520900
- Enter the product KEYWORD joined with your account number, and ensure that the account number has six digits – eg. SHR000001
- Enter amount
- Enter secret PIN and press OK
- A summary page appears with details of your payment
- Press ok to complete the transaction
- Ukristo na Ufanisi Sacco will acknowledge your transaction via SMS
NB: Account number prefixes must be typed before your account number for the preferred transaction.

3. M-SACCO
M-SACCO is a mobile banking platform, which enables our members to get services from their comfort. To enjoy this service, a member must fill M-Sacco banking Form and return the form to Sacco for registration. Member must have a registered Safaricom line, which should be the number used for current account opening.
